Energy Tax Credits

Energy Tax Credits

wright-propane-energy1Homeowners can continue to receive tax credits for making energy efficient home improvements. Under the federal stimulus bill that was signed on February 17, 2009, the tax credit was raised from 10% to 30%.

The American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009 also extends some tax credits to 2016. Those tax credits that were for specific dollar amount (for example, $300 for Central Air Conditioning) have been converted to 30% of the cost.

For more information on what tax credits you may be eligible for, click here to visit the Energy Star government website.
